Ok so!! I requested last weekend off because originally I was going to go to Yasumicon with
and 
because it's free and pretty close. Then I found out Yasumicon was cancelled and I was like "fffffffffffffffffft!!" but then they said they were going to Metrocon. I couldn't request two weekends off in a row, so I knew I couldn't go, but I did intend to still hang out with them for the weekend!!So, with general craziness, we finally decided (by 'we' I mean 'I' XD) that I would drive down there after my meeting on Friday, which I did. It was about two hours 'cause I was a little farther up north than where I normally live, but it wasn't bad at all! And thanks to my new GPS my dad gave me, I found her house without incident!
They had gone to drop off Momo's dad at the airport, so they weren't there when I arrived. Instead, I went to a Publix nearby and bought ingreedients to make *dun-dun-DUN!* SEA-SALT ICE CREAM!!!
I arrived back as they had just gotten there, so there was much squealing and arm-flailing and overall happiness in the parking lot. XDD We hoisted everything upstairs, and the fun began!!!We made our first batch of sea-salt ice cream (came out too salty! XD) and started watching some movies I brought. I don't want to bore you with what we did from day to day, but I'll give you a general outline.
We watched movies, we played Smash Bros Brawl, we sketched, inked, and painted together. We made at LEAST six trips to Michaels! XDD I got some woodless color pencils, and they're awesome! 8D A little fragile, but awesome nonetheless. >u< We even started getting into the paper star trend (me especially). We bought colorful sheets of scrapbook paper and tore it up into strips, and folded those paper stars like mad. XD We filled four jars! One for Momo's boyfriend (ooooooooooh~), one for our awesome friend Matt-kun! aka
and one for Momo and Karen. I said I'd do my own jar when I was home (I honestly wanted them to keep the stars we had done together. I felt that taking something home that I had made with patience, love, and care was...I can't really describe it, but there it is!) 
So!! More movies, more drawing, we went to the infamous TATE'S COMICS!! 8DDDDDDD It's like a tradition. Everytime I go down to Momo's house, we go there. XD Tate's is... hmm. It's like God leaned down from the Heavens and kissed the earth. And in that very spot that God's lips touched, Tate's Comics sprung up. XDDDDDD NOT KIDDING HERE!! Tate's is amazing! Japanese candy, soda, food, comics (American, Japanese, and independant), graphic novels, drawing materials, manga, anime dolls, clothes, action figures, beautiful statues, posters, wall scrolls, magnets, pins... Everything you could possibly think of putting into a store besides the manga-ka's themselves, Tate's has got. I swear, it's really like Heaven for dorks like me. XDDD
Anyway, at Tate's we bought up everything we could, including!! MUNNY DOLLS!! Another craze that's catching! Munny Dolls are little blank vinyl doll figures that you can pretty much do anything to! You can draw on them, paint on them, spraypaint them, cut them up, take them apart. The whole point is to be creative!! Here on dA if you look up 'munny doll' you might see two of my favorites: someone made two munny dolls into sound system speakers and they look so badass! The other one is someone made a white and black XBox360 munny doll, complete with lights on the inside! You really need to check it out: munny dolls!
Ok so! We bought two of the larger ones (they come in different characters) and at first we wanted to make a collaborative effort on one. But we realized that a collaborative project like we were talking about would take months of work together and we only had days. Then we decided that we would make them
's OCs Joseph and Yusra to promote the release of her new comic! 8DDD Check out her page and see it, guys!! She is going to use the dolls in a display at her Artist Alley table at Metrocon!Ok! So more movies and we attempted a second batch of sea-salt ice cream (this time it came out perfect! ^_^) and more drawing. We went out a lot to Publix (for snackage) and OfficeMax too. Lots and lots of running around! We went to Sawgrass Mills Mall and I saw the Build-a-Bear Workshop (where I eventually want to make a bear of my own!) and we had smoothie-yumminess! *^^* We bought popsicle molds to make the sea-salt ice cream in popsicle form, but that kinda failed.
Trial and error! I'll figure it out one day! XDMoving on! Movies and music (I learned about VOCALOID!! My favorites are Len and Kaito, go figure XDDDD) "Just be Friends", "Kokoro", "Magnet (male version)", fffffffffffffffffft!! *flails* XDD Sweetness!
And my job didn't schedule me to work again until THIS FRIDAY. AN ENTIRE WEEK OF THIS!!! SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!11 Anyway, to abbreviate. XDD; We did a LOT of shit. On Wednesday afternoon, we picked up
from the airport and I was so excited to finally meet him in person that I think I scared him!! XDD; We all know how over-excited Kitty can get, har har har~ He was very nice about it tho! 8D I found out he's a health nut, and goes jogging everyday! It was cool to me, anyway. Let's see...oh! We played Smash Bros together! He's killer with Marth and Ganondorf. Lolol epic manry chesthair. XDDDD We talked about Disgaea (which he is playing), Persona (which he has played) and his original story idea! We even talked about things like ambitions too, so that was fairly awesome! IT WAS SO SUPER AWESOME MEETING YOU AND HANGING OUT MATT-KUN!! 8DDDDDDDDDDDDDThere was a tiny hiccup in the happy.
kinda wandered off by herself to go out for a walk, but she didn't take her phone and it was getting dark so who has two thumbs and got overly-panicked? THIS GIRL. So I'm spazzing and all she did was walk around the block. Sorry if I over-reacted Karen-Chan! BUT NEXT TIME, TAKE YOUR PHONE!! DXAnyway! Momo's complex had a pool so we went in two different nights, and a hot tub too! Two times as well. XDD We cooked together, cleaned together, and stayed up super late talking and getting ready for the con. There were a lot of pretty deep conversations, and I feel super close to the two of them now, especially Karen-chan! We shared a room so we got to talking a little later and spewing about how we don't like asshole ex-boyfriends *COUGHJuanandRoyCOUGHCOUGH* Lolol~
THe girls even wrote a little in my diary! *^^* It was super girly bonding time until Matt came along to ruin everything!! Kidding, Matt! XDDThursday we picked up Momo's boyfriend Andrew and he's really cool!! 8DDD He likes playing the Yu-Gi-Oh cardgame, and he ADORES NErima Daikon Brothers. In fact, he's cosplaying as Ichiro!! And remember Build-a-Bear? We actually built Pandaikon for him! XDDDDDDDDD It's fabulous! It has a little guitar, sunglasses, and a birth certificate with the name "Pandaikon" on it. It's got a wish heart that we all put our wishes into (I hope everyone's was a positive wish! Mine was! *^^*) and even a voice box!! The little "mew" sound Pandaikon makes? Yeah, that was recorded by me. XDD So if you're at the con and you see Ichiro beboppin' around carrying Pandaikon and if you listen, the panda will go "mew?" and that's my voice. XDDDDDD;;
We really had a ton of fun!! I was kinda sad by Thursday afternoon 'cause I was bummed about leaving, but I still was really happy we had an entire week together! *^^* We woke up super early this morning because they needed to head out for the con, so I said goodbye at about a quarter to eight and drove home. Man, this week was indeed quite epic. We got a whole bunch of inside jokes out of it too! Bazinga! and Fail-Mat, and "I lost the game." (please don't kill me, guys! I heard this can sometimes prompt a really violent reaction! XDD), and I heard about Pink Floyd and of course, Vocaloid and Skype was suggested to me and Formspring, I think it's called? Whew! So much to absorb! ^^ And I tasted yummy drinks and ate new foods!
I had the best time I've ever had before!! <3333333333333333333333Whew, I'm spent! I should really unpcak. *eyeballs pile of crap* Ffffffffffffffffffft~ I have to go to work today too. That's ok though 'cause I'm energized and happy!
